It's apparently been called off. A better plan would have been to reroute the 371 to Sale instead, as the 11 covers a large part of its route anyway. Still, the link to Sale would have been useful and I'm surprised none exists from Stockport.

Yet at Altrincham Interchange office in the racks this morning - Tuesday - are the "new" 370 timetables - "service changed to serve Sale and Brooklands instead of Timperley and Altrincham !

Left hand and right hand methinks!

The PTE say:

We rang them last week to tell them that they should not be given out. I have contacted them again, and they assure me they are *not* being given out. The revised Guide was rushed through, and should hopefully be available on Monday.

Does seem that Arriva are a bit slow on the up-take, as they still have the 370 changing to run to Sale from next week and still have the Sale timetable up. Not changed on the North West Journey Planner either. GMPTE still have the current timetable available for download but a separate download for the 371 change next week.

370 route has been rectified on Traveline, but still got the old times, with the Saturday daytime service running hourly. By the looks of it, Stagecoach have retimed peak time journeys and increased the Saturday service to half-hourly. Arriva journeys should remain unchanged except that Stagecoach will run the 6.20pm weekday journey from Stockport
